Hopefully someone can tell you about the women's side. Overall I like it and go a couple of times every trip. There are also a couple of massage rooms and a somewhat questionable locker room guy (not that there's anything wrong with that). They have everything you need to make us men beautiful with shaving cream, deodorant, etc. In the men's locker room there are basic benches and locker's, snacks, healthy drinks (no pop, boooooo), a couple of sitting areas, TVs, individual showers, a large whirlpool and sauna. The treadmills have individual TVs and there are two large TVs facing the bikes. There is also a weight room which I have not gone into as I am mainly into cardio. There is a fairly small cardio area for both sexes - four treadmills I think, two or three exercise bikes and I think an elliptical. There is a central lobby with lemon water (lemon water is everywhere in the GN fitness area), chairs, etc. I have only seen the reception area at the Orleans but based on that the GN is much nicer. As I recall, in GN rooms, the bedside lamps are plugged into a single outlet BEHIND the headboard of the bed. I have used the fitness center at the GN several times but despite my best efforts have not seen the women's side, so I can only describe the men's. Re: Golden Nugget (Non-smoking, room outlets) Ive stayed in Carson Tower room at GN frequently and always travel with a CPAP machine, which makes me an expert in hotel room outlets.
